DST Coordinator Chat August 2008 (08/12/08)

We have completed the Department Support Team Kickoff meetings. These meetings provided an overview of the sponsor and coordinator roles.  We also covered deployment phases and an overview of key deployment tasks that will be facilitated by the DSTs.  Many of the deployment tasks will require using reference materials and tools.

Department Support Teams are established within each department to:

• Plan, manage, and execute deployment activities required at the department level.
• Serve as the champions of change in their department to make the 21st Century Project successful and they are a valuable resource to the Project Team.

Each member of the Department Support Team plays a different role. For more information on DST roles, refer to the Guidebook.
